The world is full of millionaires, and increasingly crypto millionaires. Especially, given the rise that Bitcoin has had since the great bullish rally of 2017 and the related services that it has promoted. Despite this, only 4 crypto millionaires appear on the Forbes list with the 2000 richest people on the planet in this 2020, and none of them is Changpeng Zhao.
A world of millionaire enthusiasts for cryptocurrencies
Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology are a profitable business, very profitable. And it is not only about trading with Bitcoin, or mining cryptocurrencies. If not, the crypto world has generated more and more related services, which produce enormous profits for the companies that provide them. Which makes it a true crypto millionaire factory.
Thus, every day new exchanges emerge, cryptocurrencies with better functions. Blockchain service provider companies, all with variable success, but generating millions of dollars together each year.
So the sector is expected to continue expanding in the years to come, as Blockchain begins to become more important in business and government.
All this thanks to the increasing importance of blockchains in practically all sectors of society. With the Blockchain playing a fundamental role, not only in the creation of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, but in education, finance, the industry, and even in the military world.
The Forbes list of the richest
Despite this, the crypto world has not spawned enough crypto millionaires to fill the Forbes list with the 2,000 richest people on the planet. Well, in it only four crypto millionaires appear. And they don’t include neither the founder of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, nor the Winklevoss brothers, creators of Gemini.
For his part, the list does appear the co-founder of Bitmain, Micree Zhan, who with 3.2 trillion dollars is consolidated as the richest man in the crypto world and 690 on the planet. Followed closely by Ripple CEO Chris Larsen with $ 2.6 trillion and 886 position on the Forbes list.
Then would come Micree Zhan’s partner in Bitmain’s founding, Jihan Wu, with $ 1.8 trillion and position 1307. Closing the list is Brian Armstrong, founder of Coinbase, whose fortune rises to $ 1 trillion almost closing the listed in position 2087.
Changpeng Zhao, although he exceeded one trillion dollars in his personal fortune in February 2018, does not appear on this list. As well as the Winklevoss brothers, who although together have a fortune estimated at $ 1.8 trillion, separately fail to rank among the richest in the world.
Despite Zhao’s notorious absence, with this list the crypto world would show its ability to generate wealth. And not only thanks to Bitcoins trading or hodling, but to entrepreneurship and the creation of Blockchain-based products and services. What makes the Forbes list our Today’s Data here at CryptoTrend.
