Brent oil drops 0.28%, to $ 64.22

The price of a barrel of Brent oil for delivery in February ended today in the London futures market at $ 64.22, 0.28% less than at the end of the previous session.

The North Sea oil, a benchmark in Europe, concluded the day at the International Exchange Futures with a decrease of $ 0.18 compared to the last negotiation, when it closed at $ 64.40.

Investors today picked up profits in the oil market, after Friday the price of Brent rebounded 1.63% to plans to cut production announced by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

The lack of progress in the commercial dispute between the United States and China, as well as an unexpected drop in exports from Beijing, also ballasted the price of a barrel of European crude.
