Wall Street reaches more historical figures in a session driven by Amazon
Wall Street on Thursday posted new historical figures in its three main indicators in one of the last trading days of 2019 that has been driven by a good Amazon session (NASDAQ: AMZN), who announced Christmas sales never seen.
At the end of the session at the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones advanced 0.37% or 105.94 points to 28,455.09, a historical figure, while the selective S&P 500 rose 0.51% or 16 , 53 integers and stood at 3,239.91 points, another record figure.
Meanwhile, the Nasdaq composite market index, which encompasses large technology companies, increased 0.78% or 69.51 points to 9,022.39, thus exceeding the 9,000 point barrier for the first time in its history.
