Power outages at T-Mobile US

The US mobile subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom had to deal with network failures on Monday. T-Mobile US customers in several states reported problems with incoming and outgoing calls on Monday. Tech chief Neville Ray wrote in the Twitter message service that the company’s engineers are working to resolve data and voice telephony issues affecting customers across the country. The manager did not give a reason for the problems that lasted several hours. He apologized for the inconvenience.

Representatives of T-Mobile rivals AT&T and Verizon Communication reported no problems on their networks. However, some customers were unable to reach T-Mobile connections.

T-Mobile recently started integrating after completing the acquisition of competitor Sprint in April. The merged company has more than 100 million customers. When it came to getting approval for the acquisition, company managers highlighted the engineering expertise in integrating the networks.
