HAHN (dpa-AFX) – After a mandatory three-month break due to the corona pandemic, Hunsrck Airport Hahn is expecting its first regular passenger flight again on Tuesday evening (June 9). Christoph Goetzmann, member of the airport management, said this on Monday of the German Press Agency. Wizz Air, according to its own information, is planning two weekly connections from Hahn Airport to Tuzla in Bosnia-Herzegovina this Tuesday. Further routes from Hunsrck are to follow later.
According to the airport, Air Serbia will take off from Hunsrck to Nis in Serbia on June 16. Europe’s largest low-cost airline Ryanair, top dog in the Hahn passenger business, will fly again to Palma de Mallorca and Mlaga in Spain from June 21, with more routes added later.
According to the airport, a mask is required at Hahn Airport due to the highly contagious corona virus. Signs and floor markings indicate minimum distances. The Federal Government recently decided to lift the global travel warning for 29 European countries from June 15th.
