To this end, HTC has partnered with ASIC mining chip maker Midas Labs to develop an application known as DeMiner. Which can be downloaded from the second quarter of 2020, on HTC Exodus phones, so that users can mine Monero.

Thus, it is clear that HTC’s goal with the new feature of its Exodus phones is to further decentralize mining capabilities within the crypto world. Avoiding an excessive concentration of it, in the hands of a group of mining farms, as in the case of Bitcoin.
