Independence Day: America under attack?

In early March the Coronavirus pandemic was unleashed with fury in the United States, causing at the time of writing more than 130,000 deaths and about 2.8 million infected. In this complicated scenario, the first world power celebrates its Independence Day.

The first economy in the world, is showing in recent days, some signs of recovery of its economy, creating 4.8 million new jobs in May. Some analysts point out that this is the rebound of the dead cat. The truth is that it shows some signs of recovery.

The United States remains in the dilemma whether to go deep with the economy or save lives. For now, everything seems to indicate that the economy is the priority. As if that were not enough, there are less than 5 months left for the presidential election, where for now the polls are not good for Donald Trump.

Independence Day

He Independence Day of the United States (Independence Day), is the national holiday that is celebrated on July 4 in the United States.

This day marks the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 in which the country proclaimed its formal separation from the British Empire. It is usually celebrated with many outdoor activities such as parades, baseball games, and fireworks displays. This year with the pandemic there will be very few celebrations.

Why is this independence day so important? The main candidates for the presidency will take advantage of this day to start “formally” their campaign for November, where the future of the US will be decided, which to a greater or lesser extent influences much of the world.

A few hours ago, Donald Trump published in his Twitter the phrase that led him to the presidency in 2016: “Make America great again”.

USA. under attack?

It is forecast that in the next few days with the increase of tests in the US, up to 100,000 cases per day may be reported. If so, it would be far from solving the Coronavirus problem. Cases in 37 states have been reported to increase.

Today it was announced that the city of Miami from 22:00 to 06:00 there will be a curfew to prevent the movement of people on the streets. The situation in Florida, especially in some cities, is complicated.

Undoubtedly, the United States is under attack by COVID-19. Some say it’s Donald Trump’s malpractice, for not quarantining on time, and others that it just can’t be helped. Perhaps, in the middle is the “reason”.

The economy of the United States is very important for the region, since most Latin American countries export products there. Also, if the US economy continues to shut down, there will be very little money spilled for the rest.

In addition, we must closely monitor the eurozone and a possible outbreak that some experts point out. If so, the world economy would be much more complicated.

To finish, we are in times to reflect very well on what to invest our savings. Do not miss my reflection of tomorrow where I will talk about it, along with some other “surprises”.

I say goodbye until tomorrow with this phrase from Woody Allen:

Money does not bring happiness, but it provides such a similar feeling that you need a very advanced specialist to verify the difference.
