Brent oil drops 0.90% to $ 64.59

The price of a barrel of Brent oil for delivery in March ended today in the London futures market at $ 64.59, 0.90% less than at the end of the previous session.

The North Sea oil , a benchmark in Europe, concluded the day at the International Exchange Futures with a drop of $ 0.59 compared to the last negotiation, when it closed at $ 65.18.

The tensions between Iraq and the United States ballasted the price of the barrel of Brent to the problems that the former could have to secure its energy supply if the US power does not extend an exemption for an Iraqi bank to process payments for Iraqi electricity imports and natural gas.

In addition, it was affected by the fall of the main European exchanges, such as London, Milan and Paris, which closed the session on Tuesday.
