London (Reuters) – The British government does not rule out extending its quarantine regulations to travelers from Germany and France.
When asked whether the two countries after Spain could fall under the isolation regulations next, State Secretary of State for Health Helen Whately said on Monday that the situation had to be checked continuously. “If we see rates going up in a country where there is currently no quarantine requirement … we would have to take action because we must not risk the coronavirus spreading again in the UK.” Great Britain had recently introduced a 14-day quarantine obligation for returnees from their vacation in Spain.
