Vinci subsidiary wins rail contracts in New Zealand worth EUR 485 million | message

PARIS (Dow Jones) – A subsidiary of the Vinci construction company has received two orders for the planning and construction of a light rail in New Zealand with a total value of around 485 million euros. The contracts concern the City Rail Link line in the city of Auckland, such as Vinci SA announced. They include the construction of two junctions, two kilometers of new tracks and the installation of the power supply, the overhead lines, the signaling and the control system on the line.

The subsidiary Vinci Construction SAS is part of a consortium called “The Link Alliance”, which includes another Vinci subsidiary, Soletanche Bachy International SAS, as well as a partner and three planners. The completion of the projects is expected for 2024.
